the 1902 PETITE SECONDE HEURE DORÉE was born from the creative freedom of an independent manufacture: the freedom to explore new materials, develop specific finishes and carry one aesthetic intention all the way into the movement.

On the ratchet wheel, the engraving “Limited Edition 8 Pieces”, hand-filled with matte black varnish, marks the exclusive nature of the series.

A rare creation, but above all another expression of what has driven Schwarz Etienne since 1902: building time from the movement outward.

For the first time in the 1902 collection, the manufacture ASE 300.00 calibre is presented in anthracite tones developed specifically for this series.

Against this darker architecture, one detail immediately stands out: the micro-rotor features an exclusive new 4N gold finish, echoing the indexes and hands on the dial.

For the first time in the 1902 collection, Grade 5 titanium is combined with a deep black multi-layer DLC coating.

At 39 mm, the case retains the balanced proportions of the collection, while the new circular satin finish of the bezel echoes the satin-finished lugs and enhances the interplay between polished and satin surfaces.

Lightweight, resistant and comfortable on the wrist, the material becomes an integral part of the watch’s character.

Inspired by the moment when daylight softens before giving way to night, the dial combines deep black tones with warm 4N gold accents that reveal its textures and architecture.

At the centre, a silky grained finish. Around it, a black opaline upper plate. Two distinct textures create depth and interact differently with the light.
Applied indexes and lancine-style hands in 4N gold add warmth, volume and definition to the composition.
