Stealth, heritage, and precision, all in one timepiece.

The CHRONOMASTER Revival Shadow draws inspiration from a rare 1970s ZENITH chronograph prototype with a blackened case, reimagined today in fully matte titanium.

Its stripped-back black dial removes both the date window and seconds track for a cleaner, more focused El Primero look. Powered by the El Primero 4061 movement and finished with a vintage-inspired ladder bracelet reminiscent of the legendary Gay Frères designs from the 1960s.

A bold tribute to one of watchmaking’s most iconic chronographs.

The CHRONOMASTER El Primero A384 Revival faithfully reproduces the first ZENITH steel watch to house the El Primero high-frequency automatic chronograph from 1969. Its tonneau-shaped case and panda dial follow the original production plans, paired with a steel ladder bracelet and powered by the El Primero 400 movement.

Its presence today is rooted in a defining moment of preservation. In the 1970s, as quartz threatened mechanical watchmaking, Charles Vermot safeguarded the essential tools and technical drawings in an attic at the ZENITH manufacture in Le Locle.

That decision allowed the calibre to be revived decades later, ensuring not only the A384’s return, but the continuation of the El Primero legacy itself.
