"Why do you no longer do markets?"
"So when is your next market?"
" I haven't seen you at any markets lately"

I have heard a lot of this. The reality is picking the perfect market with vendors that match your prices, target market and style is difficult, you do not always know who is there until you are setting up. Also I may have looked glam, but it is not a glamourous life, the hours are long and the last few markets I did were not worth the time, energy and money spent on it. I loved the vibe and it was very much part of my social life, but the days before and after were exhausting. Then, I took a three week holiday in 2023 and realised my life needed to balance itself out and I needed to create more space for my personal life. I manifested change and it came, in many ways, the most obvious being my wonderful man and our baby.

So no, you will not be seeing me at any markets soon. But instead, me and Marianne from AHLAM have organised a Pop up next week, where we can alternate times according to our personal needs and engagements. Not sure whether this is a one off or whether I will do more in the future, so if you miss trying on Camifolla jewellery on, this is the chance. 15-17th October at the Raku kimono store in Lugano. Years ago I met Keiko when I approached her to do a chain and covid mask collaboration. We have since become friends and I cannot believe we have waited this long to do a collaboration!

As always, all my pieces have an upcycled element to it.
