Back to work at my jewelry class: The (almost) last touches involved soldering small hooks onto the Topaze‘s setting, some more work on the setting and as last part only the earhooks need to be made. Then the esrrings will go off to the setter!

After a long break (for different reasons) I enjoyed being back to my jewelry class today. Most of the work was correcting some not so well done soldering.. these small silver parts are always tricky. The next step will be to form the hooks for these Topaz earrings. Keep an eye out for the next steps..

Back in my jewelry class agsin: This was a pure soldering day! The small hooks that will eventually hold the blue topaz were not so easy to bring in place-they wanted to jump somewhere else😅. Eventually in the last picture you can see that I managed to get them in the right position..

At last back to my jewelry class! Continued work on the Topaz silver earrings. As you can see, this implies again a lot of soldering of very small pieces.. to be continued😅

I have been to my jewelry class again but not yet posted what I am working on.. so here come a few pictures of my next project: a pair of Topaz silver earrings. The plan is that they will be hanging close to the earlobe. Need to do some more scetching😉

More on the 9th of february, as there will be a pausein my class.

The silver bracelet for my daughter got finished yesterday💖

Almost finished! There are just a few small polishings to be done next time on my daughter’s bracelet. As usual I show the work backwards.. so the end result of today is in the first picture. You can see that I had to bring the bracelet into it’s curved form, then work with the file to make both ends even to be able to solder them.
Am happy that it will be ready for Christmas!
