After a long break I have been to the jewelry class for a few hours and managed to get the round silver setting of the Amethyst into an oval form-not aseasy as you might think! First picture shows the end result🌸. Check alm the ohher pictures and video to see some details and also work on a golden stick which eventually will become earrings..

Last week my latest project were ready to get fetched at my gemsetter. So here you can see the final result: a pair of beautifully faceted Topaz set in silver. Every single part is handmade in my jewelry class.
Do you like them? They will eventually be for sale..

And here they are: Ready for the gemsetter! Today I was able to at last finish the blue Topaz silver earrings and also do some mending work on other jewelry. This pair will be for sale once the setter has set the topazes. As he is in pension I might need to find another one😌.

Back to work at my jewelry class: The (almost) last touches involved soldering small hooks onto the Topaze‘s setting, some more work on the setting and as last part only the earhooks need to be made. Then the esrrings will go off to the setter!

After a long break (for different reasons) I enjoyed being back to my jewelry class today. Most of the work was correcting some not so well done soldering.. these small silver parts are always tricky. The next step will be to form the hooks for these Topaz earrings. Keep an eye out for the next steps..
