Introducing The Godfather II.
For Jacob & Co., the most meaningful creations are not built by adding more, but by rethinking how everything comes together.
The Godfather Il follows that philosophy. It takes one of the House’s most iconic timepieces and rebuilds it from the inside out. A new movement. A new case. A new level of integration between sound and time.
The Only Double Melody Musical Timepiece.
For the first time, a Jacob & Co. watch performs two musical melodies from The Godfather movie. Both compositions are programmed onto a single music box barrel, allowing them to be selected and played on demand through a fully integrated system.
Inside, the JCAM62 caliber brings together 510 components, excluding pins, working as a unified architecture rather than separate complications. A one minute flying tourbillon regulates time, while a comb with 18 steel teeth and a rotating pin-studded cylinder transform mechanical energy into music. With a precise shift of less than a millimeter, the mechanism transitions seamlessly between both melodies.
Nothing is added without purpose. Nothing exists on its own.
The case follows the same approach. A newly developed 42 × 44 mm curved rectangular design, inspired by Art Deco, introduces a more compact and controlled form while enhancing acoustics, ergonomics, and presence on the wrist.
This is not a continuation of what came before. It is a redefinition of it.
