gina melosi JEWELLERY GINA MELOSI marries cutting-edge, conceptual jewellery design with ethical principles and materials.

Handcrafted in Berlin, the collections explore raw/refined aesthetics with responsibly sourced gemstones, Fairmined metals, and innovative techniques. GINA MELOSI is a Berlin-based jewellery artist and designer whose work merges avant-garde aesthetics with responsible materials and production. Her collections push the boundaries of form and texture, balancing raw/refined and elegant/rough luxe. Originally launching with //SHATTERED fragments//, a collection that gained acclaim from both trade and fashion press—including Selfridges as a stockist—her designs have since evolved into a sculptural dialogue between organic destruction and high-tech precision. Trained at London’s Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture & Design, Gina’s background in Fine Art Photography, Studio Art, and Classical Music informs her conceptual approach. Inspired by the broken, overlooked, and abandoned, she works with responsibly sourced and lab-grown gemstones, Fairmined metals, and cutting-edge digital techniques. Her collections have been showcased at Paris, London, and Milan Fashion Weeks, as well as exhibitions in New York, Munich, and beyond. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and Numéro. The most recent campaign was fronted by Qaher Harhash, reflecting the brand’s commitment to gender-neutral design and inclusivity. She has collaborated with leading stylists and artists, with her jewellery appearing in editorial features and on international red carpets.

Last month, we opened up the studio during Berlin Fashion Week for HIDDEN SYSTEMS - another iteration of something that has become an important part of how we use the space: bringing together different practices, people and perspectives through experimental sound, performance and visual work.

Each time, the constellation shifts and the space becomes something different.

Huge thanks to Jiawen Wang and Soft as Snow for bringing their creativity and talent into the space, to everyone who came and spent the evening with us, and the team who helped make it happen.

Flashback to our last BFW event in Feb -

Material Frequencies was a live audio-visual performance by artist () and multimedia artist , featuring cello recordings by Gianna McDonald.

Part of a two-part series, the work explores the shared language between sound, touch, and transformation. Jewellery-making tools, tape loops, and recorded cello fragments become material for live improvisation, where friction, polishing, and degradation are treated as acts of care as much as erasure.
