In this video, you can see the wheel train bridge of our FPA1 being finished by hand.

The first part shows the work on the bevels, where each edge is shaped and refined step by step. The second part shows the finished bridge, with clean angles and a consistent surface across the whole component.

Hand finishing the mainplate for our upcoming FPSK26.

This watch offers a lot of surface area for finishing, which gives us plenty of room to work with different techniques and textures. Every surface gets its own treatment, and we are enjoying how much space the design gives us.

The FPSK series is our playground. It is where we try new ideas and use our creativity together with the team, and the FPSK26 is the newest result of that.

In this video, we heat blue the dial of the FPA1 TFA (Time for Art) Skeleton by hand.

The steel is heated slowly until a thin layer forms on the surface and the color shifts to blue. The result depends on temperature and timing, so it takes close attention and a steady hand to get an even color across the whole dial.

In this video, you can see how we operate our Hauser machines to produce a balance wheel.

Today, only a small number of watchmakers produce their balance wheels themselves. Many rely on specialized suppliers, because the work demands a very high level of precision and experience on the machine.

The process may look simple on video, and behind every smooth step are careful setup, steady hands, and a lot of practice.

We are grateful to have the machines and the team to take on this work, and we look forward to showing you more of what happens behind the scenes in our workshop.

Here is another look at the FPA1 TFA (Time for Art) Skeleton, the pièce unique we created for TimeForArt.

The skeletonized dial opens up the view onto the caliber we developed, and the heat blued finish adds color to the structure around it. Traditional hand finishing runs across the visible parts of the movement, and we are happy to finally show it in more detail.

In this video, we test the retrograde date mechanism of our FPA1 and work on fine tuning how it behaves.

A retrograde display moves the indicator along an arc and then returns it to the start at the end of the cycle. That return has to happen at the right moment and with the right amount of force, which makes it one of the parts of the movement that needs the most attention during testing.

Here you can see us checking how the mechanism responds and making small adjustments to improve how smoothly it works. Every change gets tested again before we decide whether it stays.

We are proud to present the FPA1 TFA (Time for Art) Skeleton, a pièce unique created for TimeForArt.

It brings together a skeletonized and heat blued dial, traditional hand finishing, and the architecture of the caliber we developed ourselves. With the dial opened up, the movement is in full view, framed by the blued finish around it.
