a ring for my love 🤍 with a unique transparent stone from a mixed batch. The setting is as invisible as possible to highlight the transparency of the stone. I also chose an asymmetric shank to avoid making it too bulky. Dm to order a similar one! Though we’ll have to find a stone :)

💍April was the month of diamonds and I didn’t post anything about it because, well, I didn’t make anything (yet!!) with diamonds. But let’s take a look at cubik zirconia aka fake diamonds, shall we! Of course it is impressive how natural diamonds were made some billion years ago from the immense pressure of earth but it is also quite impressive how cubic zirkonia was engineered on a molecular level to stay stable and be almost (!) as beautifully reflective and durable as diamonds are. So no need to sniff at these cheap fake diamonds cause they are really some top notch science okay 👩🏻‍🔬

🙂 yes, a similar piece with a different stone is possible! We just need to find the right stone. Here a lovely lady asked for a raindrop brass ring but with a green stone instead of the amber one in the original. And, much like in the case of the original stone, I’ve found a perfect round little stone in a second hand batch! After polishing, this malachite looks just like new ✨

march was packed with questions and encounters, focusing on exploring rather than making. Though I feel the pressure to finish the many projects laying around my bench, I’m glad i took some time to put everything more into perspective.
