i just love this old flex shaft! When it arrived it warmed my heart that its pedal is exactly like the one i know from my mum’s sewing machine. It is an old boy, but still perfectly functional and helps me out with all things drilling, sanding, polishing, stone setting, you name it. A true multitalent! Dentists use it too 🤓 Let me know what if you want to see some other tools from my workshop! 🧰

the summer is sadly over (chestnuts are falling from the tree behind our kitchen, and that’s the ultimate sign) and i forgot to tell you about the loveliest story of it all! 🥰 parallel to Pitu’s commission of gold hoops for Bogi, Bogi also secretly commissioned a ring for Pitu!! Well they won the couple of the summer prize in my heart for sure 🫶 so here is Pitu’s ring, a silver version of the treebark ring with a black onyx in it 🖤

this is pretty unfiltered picture of my quite realistically messy , my office desk-turned-workshop with a very much unaligned picture on the wall now that I look at it 🤔 (of where I met my man 💕) . So here, in our shared office + guest room I’m making all this jewellery. I’m of course dreaming of something more spacious but it does well for the moment 😇 What’s your space like? 🤓

💎💎💎 36 hours of extremely concentrated work here peeps. I don’t think I was ever so done than after this one-week course of pavé setting (and I do often challenge myself!), but I’m so glad I did it. Stone setting is really a next-level thing, no wonder it’s a profession in itself! 💎💎💎

It’s so easy to buy cheap jewellery, even knowing it won’t last. But quality materials, precious stones and metals don’t loose their value. So why not start investing in pieces that not only you, but also generations coming can wear and treasure?

Júlia wanted something she could wear every day, something that fits her style but also doesn’t ‘compete’ with her diamond engagement ring. so we went for a lovely and sturdy ruby with a pinkish colour (her favourite) and a protective silver bezel setting 🩷
