Where we come from. What we’re known for.

Misty hills, winding roads, church towers at sunset and a region that is proud of what it makes. Cuckoo clocks have been built here in the Black Forest since 1848, and today we make ours by hand in Gütenbach.

Five moving scenes. One clock.

Meet the Card Players Clock: three men at the table, a turning water wheel, two b**r drinkers, a dance floor, and the cuckoo who calls them all on the hour. Every figure is set and painted by hand in our manufactory in Gütenbach, so no two clocks move quite the same way.

Introducing Golden Hour.

An electronic movement. A wooden cuckoo. Metal pine cone weights.

Our new chalet cuckoo clock brings together everyday convenience and the traditional materials we love. Handcrafted in Gütenbach in the Black Forest, its wooden chalet tells a quiet story — from the red shutters and flower boxes to the man enjoying a b**r in the yard.

The wooden cuckoo calls on the hour, followed by one of twelve melodies. As darkness falls, the sound switches off automatically.

From individual parts to a finished piece, every clock passes through many hands before it begins telling its story.

Tradition, without the daily winding.

The Q 70/10E Avis Serena pairs traditional Black Forest design with an electronic movement. Painted leaves, warm wood, and on the hour a cuckoo call with echo followed by one of twelve melodies. A mechanical music box could never hold that many.

A light sensor takes care of the night, so the clock falls silent on its own.

Assembled, decorated and checked by hand in Gütenbach, like every clock we build. An easy second clock, or an easy first one.
