The brand-new NOMOS caliber DUW 4701 features a quick-set date, a power reserve of up to 52 hours, and an indicator to keep track of it. Despite incorporating two complications, the movement remains remarkably slender at just 2.8 millimeters.

An improved mainspring made from the advanced Bioflex alloy and a special ratchet mechanism help deliver energy more consistently, contributing to a longer power reserve and greater accuracy. The patented NOMOS power reserve indicator uses just three additional gears to display the remaining energy through a three-color system. Two contrasting colors on the dial show when there's still plenty of energy left and when it's time to wind the watch. Simple, intuitive, and distinctly NOMOS.

This new hand-wound caliber now powers Metro date power reserve ice blue, as well as the original version in white.

Our collaboration with him began in 2014 with the design of Metro, now one of our bestselling watches. Earlier this year, he visited the NOMOS Lounge in New York to share the story behind this iconic design at an exclusive event.
