Die Symbiose aus Design und Handwerk entsteht aus der Auseinandersetzung mit Materialien, Formensprachen und Konzepten. Jedes Projekt erfasst vorbeiziehende Gedanken, Ideen, Konzepte und Wünsche sowie deren Zusammenhänge, Proportionen, Kontexte und Mehrdeutigkeiten. Durch ihre Materialisierung erhalten sie ihre Formen, Farben, Texturen und letztendlich ihren prädestinierten Platz auf unserem Körpe

r. Sowohl bei der Arbeit an Kollektionen als auch an Maßanfertigungen wird jedes Schmuckstück von Hand angefertigt. The symbiosis of design and craftsmanship results from the examination of materials, design languages and concepts. Each project captures passing by thoughts, ideas, concepts and desires as well as their connections, proportions, contexts and ambiguities. By materialising them they receive their forms, colours, textures and, ultimately, their predestinated places on our bodies.

Its been a long process, going back and forth. Once I had the first two rings done, I had them molded in silicone and cast in wachs. Then I cut them open and combined them.

I am really happy to release this new collection of rings. Any irregularities, imperfections and asymmetries are intentional and emerge from the long process of craftsmanship. My jewellery is made by hand, and that is supposed to be visible and tangible.
I was curious to merge a solid with a liquid form, exploring the point where they meet and how that effects the empty space in the middle.
