Hi, it's Alexandra. I hope you like my facebook site! I was born in Portugal and moved later to Germany and right now we are living in the UK. In my designs I incorporate experiences and influences of cultures around the world. I began designing and handcrafting since I was a little girl, later I started jewellery for the love of Art and creating something special. Each jewellery piece is an expre

ssion of myself and a reflection of the nature as an inspiration. I only use genuine materials. From earthy corals and shells to elegant pearls, crystals, semi precious stones and silver. As precious metal prefer silver, though I also offer gold and gold plated works. I love using precious stones, but there is a great variety of semi precious materials I hand select my material from all over the world. I consider myself an artist, my style is elegant, feminine, classy and modern. I would like you to enjoy my work and come back for more if you wish If you require a special item that is not on my page I am happy to custom-make one for you or your loved one, fitting to an outfit or complexion. I disappeared from Instagram for a while - too much going on, too many things on the bench, too many tabs open in my brain 😉

But today calls for a comeback post.

My long waited copy of Mitsuro Hikime: Japanese wax sculpting by Kumiko Kihara & Elsa Tierney finally arrived, and naturally I had to document the full emotional journey: opening it, admiring, talking to it… and yes, smelling it.

Freshly printed books. Specialist craft knowledge. Japanese wax sculpting. What’s not to love?

I helped fund this book together with so many others, and it feels genuinely special to hold it now. Huge congratulations to the authors and makers behind it - publications like this keep rare techniques visible, teachable and alive.

Now I’m off to be quietly, deeply professionally obsessed 🤩

She started learning wax carving with me - now she’s renting a bench in my studio, creating her own beautiful pieces (and yes, I still keep an eye on her 😉).
