My name is Bruce Devin and this is the first collection of watches that I have ever designed. My story of creating watches however, begins a few years back. While working in Spain, I was introduced to a wealthy fellow countryman who shared my passion for watches. I had the designs and he had the money. We were going to create and sell watches. While working full time at my job, I spent every night
and every weekend at my desk drawing, creating and planning. I lost much sleep, but it did not matter. I could keep working my trivial daytime job, or I could take a chance on something I truly felt passionate about. My drawings were discarded for generic, cheap designs and my ideas came at a price my partner was not willing to pay. I refused to compromise, as my dream was not to sell cheap, mass-produced watches, but to create unique, elegant and minimalistic wristwatches. My dream was about creating something unique, my partners dream turned out to be about making more money. We split, but I was not unhappy. I had received great feedback on my designs and I was now surer than ever that creating watches was what I truly wanted. I quit my job, moved back to my home country of Denmark and invested my savings into my dream; the watches that you now see on my site. These watches are entirely my own creation. They have been crafted with passion, heart and this makes them unique. You will never see another person wearing the same watch as you. To prove this, each watch will have a specific number chosen by YOU. There is no middleman, no mass-production, and no compromise in the design. Every watch is therefore unique in its own way, uniquely defined by its own number – your number.
