Who knew Sundays could feel this wholesome? 🥞🌿🔥
Hidden in Reffen, this beautiful farm garden opens its doors for slow Sundays filled with simple joys: making your own pancakes over a bonfire, wandering among herbs and vegetables, meeting the chickens, and bringing home fresh produce and plants.

And if you’re lucky enough to get a seat at the long-table lunch, you’ll share seasonal dishes made from the garden and local organic farms , the kind of meal that reminds you how good food tastes when it’s grown with care and enjoyed together.

Honestly, this might be one of the coziest summer experiences in Copenhagen. ✨

There’s something magical about this time of year. As soon as the sun comes out, many Copenhageners seem to follow the same rituals:

🏊‍♀️ We go back to the water.
🚲 We move our bodies every chance we get.
🌞 We catch every ray of sunshine.
💆‍♀️ And we give our bodies a little extra care.

One thing we recently discovered? Not all massages are about simply relaxing. At , this unique treatment works while your muscles work too, the perfect addition to an active Copenhagen summer.

What’s your favorite Copenhagen summer ritual? 💛

This is the Copenhagen route we always suggest to friends visiting the city… 🤫

🌿 Start wandering through Ørstedsparken and stop by , a charming café tucked inside the park. Grab a coffee, find a sunny bench, and enjoy one of the city’s most peaceful green spaces, filled with locals, runners, and quiet moments by the water.

🥐 Head to , where a warm coffee and a delicious spandauer (traditional Danish pastry) set the tone for a slow Copenhagen morning.

🍴 Explore , Copenhagen’s beloved food market. Taste everything from fresh seafood and Danish smørrebrød to spices, cheeses, and sweet treats, this is where the city comes to eat.

💧 Continue towards The Lakes, one of Copenhagen’s most iconic walking routes. Stroll along the water and take in the relaxed rhythm of the city, with cyclists, swans, and reflections of colourful buildings.

🌉 Cross Dronning Louises Bro, the bridge connecting the city centre with Nørrebro. On sunny days, it becomes a natural meeting point where locals sit along the water with drinks, music, and conversations flowing into the evening.

☕ Pause at one of the cosy lakeside cafés and watch Copenhagen life pass by slowly, this is one of the best places to simply sit and stay awhile.

🥟 When hunger strikes, head to .dk for their delicious Daal Bhat platter, one of our favourite dishes and a perfect way to experience authentic Nepalese flavours.

🍾 End the day at , a hidden underground champagne bar where candlelight, bubbles, and a cosy atmosphere make for the perfect Copenhagen finale.

✨ Save this mini guide for your next sunny day in Copenhagen.

Spot the difference! 👀 Vesterbrogade just traded car traffic for flower beds and wooden decks. The busy road right in front of Tivoli has officially been transformed into a massive pedestrian zone. Open until December!

No castles. No royal guards. No Little Mermaid.

Just Copenhagen and one of its neighbourhoods. ❤️

This corner around Enghave Plads is one of the reasons why so many people fall in love with Vesterbro.

The bikes parked outside cafés. The conversations spilling onto the sidewalks. The independent shops. The leafy streets. The feeling that life moves just a little slower here.

It’s the kind of neighbourhood where there is no rush to get anywhere. Instead, you wander. You stop for a coffee. You take a different street home. You notice the details.

And when hunger finally arrives, you’ll find plenty of great places to sit down and enjoy the moment, including some truly authentic Italian pizza that feels like a little trip to Rome without leaving Copenhagen. 🍕And hey… it’s not just for pizza, you can have a drink or a set of lovely ‘antipasti’.

This is what we love most about Vesterbro: it’s not about one place, it’s about the atmosphere, the people, and all the small local gems that make the neighbourhood special.

Have you spent time around Enghave Plads? What is your favourite spot in this part of the city?

Ad | Just been invited to experience this exquisite restaurant at Gammel Strand, and what a timing ✨

The very next day, the chef was awarded the Michelin Young Chef Award. What a privilege and a wonderful surprise to have had the chance to taste his cuisine right before this well-deserved recognition.

Recently renovated, the restaurant now offers a refreshed and elegant ambience in one of Copenhagen’s most iconic waterfront locations.

Our favourite dish? The orzo with razor clams and green asparagus, absolutely outstanding.

A true seafood experience in the heart of the city, elevated by thoughtful wines and a renewed vision ❤️

We spent the evening at the other night, and it’s easily one of the nicest spots we’ve been to lately.
It’s inside a beautiful old building right in the center of town, and they’ve basically put a restaurant, a cocktail bar, and a jazz club all in one place. We ended up staying the entire night, started with dinner, moved to the bar for drinks, and then headed downstairs for the live jazz with the fantastic ‘s voice! .
If you’re looking for a good place for a date night or just a long dinner with friends, we highly recommend checking it out. 🤩
