Inspired by the iconic American horn-rimmed silhouettes of the 1950s — famously associated with James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause — the TVR®512 has long been celebrated for its authentic mid-century aesthetics and meticulous craftsmanship.
The TVR®512X 2026 Edition reimagines this legendary silhouette through the lens of the X Series — transforming the original JD Shape into a bolder, more elevated expression of retro eyewear, where heritage craftsmanship meets contemporary refinement.
From the iconic “W” rivets and keyhole bridge to its seven-barrel hinge, windsor rims, and Tebori metal core Feather temples — every detail faithfully revived.

Limited to 99 pieces, the two Vintage 1993 colorways-Black Clear and Brown Clear-were fashion-leading shades of the vintage era. After more than 30 years, the colors have evolved into a transparent appearance with a warm glow, as if quietly telling a story from long ago.
To complete the DIAMOND CUT, as many as eight additional polishing processes are required. Sawada Yaemon performs the entire procedure himself, making the regular SERIES collection the product with the longest production timeline-approximately 18 to 20 months.
