The less visible side of making jewelry.
As part of my work with , selected pieces of my jewelry were independently tested by Intertek for total lead content and nickel release. The submitted samples passed both requirements. 💯
My work begins with melting, shaping and allowing the silver to find its form, but behind every finished piece, there is also a quieter technical side that matters 🙌

NEW MAKERS 2026 | The Making Of at London Design Festival

Visit Brompton Design District’s hub during London Design Week to view our New Makers 2026 collection. This year’s theme, Perfectly Imperfect, curated by Alex Tieghi-Walker, will exhibit a mix of design-led brands and cultural institutions. 
 
Our exhibition brings together Jacob Marks, Yuichi Romita, Egle Silko, Hannah Watts and Linnan Ye, whose practices span wood-fired and wheel-thrown ceramics, pine-resin vessels and textural sterling-silver jewellery. Rather than focusing solely on the finished pieces, the presentation reveals the hands, materials and processes behind them, celebrating the individuality and imperfections inherent in handmade work.
 
Created to support and celebrate independent craft practices, the TOAST New Makers programme provides each selected maker with a platform to share and sell their work to a wider audience. The makers receive the full proceeds from the sale of their pieces. 
 
Join us for two panel talks throughout the event. On Saturday 19 September, a conversation exploring the changing meaning of craft, is chaired by Hugo Macdonald, design critic and co-founder of Bard, with New Maker Jacob Marks and Johanna Agerman Ross, Chief Curator of the Design Museum.
 
New Makers Hannah Watts and Jacob Marks will be working in the space on Thursday 17 September.

New Makers at London Design Festival

The TOAST New Makers 2026 collection is currently on display in the Brompton Design District, South Kensington, for London Design Festival. This year’s theme, Perfectly Imperfect, curated by Alex Tieghi-Walker, exhibits a mix of design-led brands and cultural institutions.

Visit the design hub until Sunday 20 September to view the collection, featuring ceramics, jewellery and pine resin works by Jacob Marks, Yuichi Romita, Egle Silko, Hannah Watts, and Linnan Ye.
 
On Saturday 19 September, a conversation exploring the changing meaning of craft, is chaired by Hugo Macdonald, design critic and co-founder of Bard, with New Maker Jacob Marks and Johanna Agerman Ross, Chief Curator of the Design Museum.
