The centre has started its activities in 2006, with an objective of developing and upgrading th

e gold smithery sector in Egypt by offering various services and several training courses such as:-
- Jewelry Design
- Wax Carving
- Jewelry Making
- Stone Setting
- Accessories
- CAD system
- Diamond Grading

JTC provides a large fully-equipped workshop with individual professional workbenches and tools needed for the various specializations. JTC graduated since the opening 400 students. Companies which have been assisted by JTC’s services are more than 51, as the centre provides a recruitment office to enrich jewelry sector with a highly qualified labor force, moreover JTC offers know-how transfer and consultation through international and local experts. JTC is launching The Jewelry Design Studio (JDS) to carry out special consultations to jewelry factories with the following services:-
o Collection of design
o CAD system, technical drawing with orthogonal projection. o Prototype in wax. o Prototype in metal (bras, silver, gold). o Diamond Grading evaluation (JTC’s instructors are certified as diamond graders from the (HRD) Antwerp Institute of Gemology and the (IGI) International Gemology institute).
