in the wake of last weeks event, it’s been an absolute whirlwind of love and support. writing this now, as i finally get a moment to myself to reflect.
they say you work silently for years, & overnight everything can change. and everything did.
they say if your dreams dont scare you, they’re not big enough.
they say a lot of things… but if you want the truth, never in my wildest dreams could i have concocted this moment.
dream big, queens. work hard, keep your head down, do everything with integrity and honesty, trust in God, and one day…. He will sweep you off your feet.
i will NEVER get over this. i will never get over meeting His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi & experiencing his wonderful presence. i will never get over being given the chance to present our work to him. thank you - you make the impossible, possible.
