AWARD GIVING / LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2026 Winners

On 13 May, the LOEWE FOUNDATION announced Jongjin Park (Republic of Korea) as the winner of the 2026 Craft Prize for his work 'Strata of Illusion' (2025). The jury highlighted Jongjin Park’s ability to challenge expectations of ceramics through a process balancing control, collapse and transformation.

Two special mentions were also awarded to Graziano Visintin for 'Collier' (2025) and Baba Tree Master Weavers × Álvaro Catalán de Ocón for 'Frafra Tapestry' (2024).

All 30 shortlisted works are currently exhibited at the National Gallery Singapore until 14 Jun 2026.

Venice Design Week invites jewellery designers to reflect on peace not as a symbol or a slogan, but as a fragile balance, an ongoing process and a space for critical reflection.

Selected works will be exhibited during Venice Design Week 2026 and reviewed by an international jury including Roberto Zanon, Maria Rosa Franzin, Valeria Accornero and Marianna Serandrei.

David Watkins + Wendy Ramshaw: A New Vision at

Explore the work of two internationally acclaimed British jewellery artists, David Watkins (b.1940) and Wendy Ramshaw CBE (1939–2018), alongside curators and jewellery specialists Rachel Church, Amanda Game, Dr Frances Parton and Dr Dora Thornton.

The event marks the launch of 'Watkins + Ramshaw: A New Vision' published by and presenting new research developed for the exhibition of the same name held at Goldsmiths' Hall in 2025.

The online jewelry show for designers, brands and students, Digital Jewelry Week (DJW) returns for its third edition.
After welcoming participants from more than 29 countries and over 12,000 visitors, DJW 2026 introduces two physical event days alongside the digital platform: one industry day and one public day.

🏆 Student Competition Award
The winning project will receive a curated showcase at GemGenève 2027.
DJW will produce the winning jewel and present it at GemGenève to collectors, press and industry professionals.

Destination Bijou Cagnes-sur-Mer Jewellery Week 2026

Following the success of the first edition in 2024, Destination Bijou Cagnes is back under the leadership of the three curators Isabelle Busnel, Sébastien Carré and Juan Riusech.

This major event, supported by the town and the Museum of Contemporary Jewellery, will take over the Grimaldi Castle Museum and, through 11 exhibitions, will showcase artists from numerous countries (France, Spain, Greece, Sweden, Canada…), including students from five French schools of contemporary jewellery.

Yong Joo Kim in What to Collect Now: Contemporary Textiles, Part II at

For years, artists have been shifting the boundaries of conventional textiles by experimenting with new techniques and materials while honoring the heritage of handcrafted textiles. Contemporary textiles link the past and the present through the reinterpretations of these traditions, engaging both collectors and makers in a meaningful way. Collectors have been taking note.
