I have always considered myself lucky for being born within a family with origins in Uruguay and Chile, and raised i
n the beautiful volcanic island of Gran Canaria. Passionate lover of the ocean around me, I lived years in a permanent summer while spending our holidays in our farmhouse in Rocha-Uruguay, where some of my best memories live. Las Niñas was the name of our house and Indio, my first horse, is the logo of the brand. Since my childhood I played and experimented with jewelry, said I wanted to be an artist, a veterinary, a business woman and finally chose the hospitality industry to keep travelling and connected to the world. After my experience in this field developed between Barcelona and Seattle, I now know that personal connections are the key to creating memorable experiences; this can only be achieved putting genuine care and passion in what you do. To keep the essence of the brand, our approach to the design process is to incorporate several different materials and techniques to obtain incomparable pieces that are recognizable and eye catching, and always generate interest and admiration. Big and unusual geometric shapes, eye-catching raw gemstones, vibrant color combinations and metal textures inspired in nature, together with our horse and horseshoe symbols repeat amongst our collections. If our client feel confident and beautiful incorporating Las Niñas to their unique expression of themselves, we have succeeded. Each piece is handcrafted in my studio in Cordoba, incomparable location with traditional jewelry history, with limited numbers of production.
