Before No Public Market
Diamond Exchanges (Bourses) around the world are restricted to trade members only and no transparent public market exists for the easy trading of diamonds. Historically any private investor would have to purchase stones retail, at markups of 30% - 50% or more. Re-sale of the asset was even more difficult for the investor who had no access to retail buyers, since commercial ...diamond traders would only offer prices well below the retail price at which it was purchased. D&D Solution:
As a global manufacturer and wholesaler of polished diamonds, WDI provides with a wide selection of investment grade certified diamonds at very competitive
wholesale rates. We provide a wide choice of investment-grade diamonds for self-selection, but for those who prefer, Waldman's gemologists can put together a suggested package to suit your investment needs. Alternatively, WDI can re-sell the investor’s stones directly on the wholesale market.
