Cuando fuimos al Thyssen y descubrí a la muchacha que, apoyada en una silla con tapicería de terciopelo, se colocaba sus zapatos de tacón; a las señoras que conversaban con gestos descarados; al perrito negro saltarín; una mirada triste y penetrante; un torero ridículo; una preciosa tela transparente bordada y los Rumores de Jerez.

When we went to the Thyssen Museum and I spotted the young woman leaning against a velvet-upholstered chair, putting on her high-heeled sandals; the ladies chatting animatedly; the little black dog jumping about; a sad, piercing gaze; a ridiculous bullfighter; a beautiful embroidered sheer fabric; and the Rumores de Jerez.
