Having access to the official archive of Miffy’s illustrations was a revelation, leading us to work with these images in a literal way. This is how our first scarves at ANDRESGALLARDO came to life.

In the HIDE & SEEK Silk Scarf, Miffy lifts her dress to hide, following that deeply childish logic where covering your face means disappearing completely. A gesture both innocent and radical. Childhood does not yet separate imagination from reality. It transforms the world simply by perceiving it differently.
These are the ideas that continue to inspire us through the work of Dick Bruna, Miffy’s creator. Perhaps that is why his characters still feel like such meaningful companions in our adult lives.
