Debbie challenged me to make Iris flowers, well many attempts later and here are the final results. I even listed the darker ones in my Etsy shop, will list the others soon as well. My lampworking friend Debbie challenged us to make Iris flowers. No problem I said because I made before. It was a while ago and needless to say it was a whole new learning curve. I make the petals and add to the base, we both use a variation of the same technique. Anyway...shattered petals, memory loss on the order of work! Photos are from the first batch. There is another batch in the kiln tonight so I await the outcome. If they turn out better than these I show you! Gotta love a challenge heaven knows what she throw at us next

Marché Noel tomorrow night 5pm -10pm Salle Jacques Brel here in Bussiere-Poitevine 87320. Claude and I will be there with many other artisans showcasing our creations. Papa Noel will be there, lots of good food available and of course the bar will be open. Come and say hello if you are visiting. Just a few photos to show our items
