🪽As you know, I love creating pieces with historical symbols.

These earrings were inspired by a trip to Baku, where I visited the temple Atashgah, the cradle of Zoroastrianism, the people of fire on the Silk Road.

There, I saw this bird-shaped symbol, the Faravahar, which represents the human soul, divine protection, good thoughts, good words, and good deeds (and we need that!).

⛏️For example, in America, before the Gold Rush, there was the Turquoise Rush, as evidenced by the Turquoise Trail, which connects Albuquerque to Santa Fe in New Mexico. For Native Americans, it is the “Stone of Life.” But, the most coveted Turquoise remains Persian turquoise.

🌀In past centuries, in Europe, it was believed to cure liver ailments, migraines, or even ward off negative energies.
