I like my Sapphires weird 🙃

Thrilled to have sourced this very partied Sapphire, with a hint of sheen.
If time allow I will sit at the microscope to capture more of it's internal features.

📏 13.7x9.9x5.40 mm

This Sapphire is part of a collection gathered recently and comprising of Australian and Madagascar partie-Sapphires, comprising also black and blue Stars cabochons as well as collector's pieces .

This year's sourcing in Bangkok left so much room for the weird and beautiful from the realm of gemstones .

I have been asked to look for the oddest diamonds (which I usually don't stock up) in shapes and inclusions.

I thought these large (8 mm) square cushion rose-cut salt and pepper diamonds would be a good idea as well as these hexagons with the cutest 3 mm average.

My client loves them and I am so pleased with my mischief.

I've been roughin'

Slowly purchasing wannabe gemstones.
They are not perfect but this is the way I am taking to learn about handling them, tame my tool and sharpen my skills.
This is a yellow / green / blue stones batch, with a pair of red natural Zircons for contrast .
