Before doing cufflinks, he was journalist for Metropolis (Arte) and a curator in contemporary art. In 2007, he tried to do a documentary about the "origin of the button", the smallest thing of a man clothes. The result of researches was enough cabochons in mother-of-pearl to be able to do 223 pairs of cufflinks. That's how he started creating cufflinks. Then his collection of cufflinks is worked everytime on the same way, on codes of dressing used before the French Revolution : House cufflinks, day cufflinks, sport cufflinks, evening cufflinks and pump and circumstances cufflinks.
