Studio time is almost here! Delighted to be the recipient of this year's round of VACMA funding - the Visual Arts and Craft Makers Award from

I plan to spend some time looking at ways of adding pattern and illustration to aluminium, wood and well anything else that I can experiment with!

The funding will allow me to carve out some dedicated time to try new processes and play in the studio without pressure to create a fully completed body of work straight away.

Wouldn't it be good to play more, just for fun?

Coming up in September, which seems ages away but it's always handy to have some notice if you like to have a think or need time to save up for things.

I'll be hosting my 9 week jewellery course on Monday evenings 6.30-9pm

It's bookable via Eventbrite, see my link tree above or simply search Engage workshops at Grays in your favourite search engine and you'll find the list of cool workshops.

See some silver, copper and brass jewellery makes created by the folks in my last 9 week block earlier this year.

Feel free to tell folk + share โค๏ธ

Want to hang out with me for a day? I'm actually quite fun, I promise!

I'll be in Dunblane next Saturday for a day workshop at the amazingly kitted out Scottish Jewellery School as part of their Eco Festival running in May.

I'll be bringing along my stash of scrap leather, perspex, wood, plastics and unexpected materials to inspire you. Bring along your own treasures is you like and we can work together on coming up with interesting ways to incorporate them into new designs.

Featured here are 2 driftwood brooches combined with found beach material, thread and metals. The last 2 pics are students work from my last workshop featuring scrap perspex, aluminium and felt pieces.

Any experience levels are welcome.

Green is life ๐Ÿ’š and all the green I'm seeing outside is really joyful at the moment..

It's been a minute or two since I've had time to share anything about my jewellery work of late as I've been kept pretty busy with spreading the gospel of creativity for the last few weeks.

Hoping to share some new pieces soon and return to developing my Bord collection using scottish timber offcuts and Formica. Got some juicy summer colours in the pipeline. So stay tuned.

My latest makes have been stitchy rather than jewellery!

Working my way through my first attempt at a very small quilt using scraps of screen printed fabric, bedding and linen. Praying for the stitch gods to be on my side when it comes to binding the edges...

Neon pink or lime green for the binding??

Planning to do more days like this again in 2026 - looking, exploring and hanging out with the cutest people โค๏ธ

This little happy chappy started off as a design intended for a special order that I had to put on hold while I wasn't very well this time last year.

Sadly, it never made it to the person (sorry nice lady!) it was intended for but it kinda feels a bit symbolic to see it complete and ready for fun times a year later!

So this is your gentle reminder that success comes in many forms, like letting down a customer + taking a year to finish a necklace might be seen as a failure but instead I've decided to see it as a success - huzzah!

I'd love to hear about your unsuccessful successes this year big or small โฌ

Citrus Orange / Natural Oak

I'm having a bit of a moment with orange just now. If you are also having a moment with a particular colour then I can make you one in YOUR fave shade.

But for now I'll just leave this here, this one is online and I plan to close my shop at the end of the week ๐Ÿงก

These jolly wee colour pops are reversible, wear them with the blue section facing out, simply swap them over and hey presto you've got the lime green colour facing out. Pretty cool, huh? Swipe right for a wee demo.

Made with polished surgical steel ear wires which can be handy for folk who have sensitivity to silver.

You can find these over at aubinjewellery.com ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŽต These are more than just earrings ๐ŸŽต

Not only are these reversible they are also detachable! So you can wear them red to the front or deep turquoise to the front or just the silver bar on its own.

Swipe right for video reference ๐ŸŽฅ

That's 3 pairs in 1 , yes you can thank me later! ๐Ÿ’‹
