We are a jewellers based in Alcester we house our own full work shop, jobbing jeweller and industrial polishing shop on site! This allows us to cut out the 'middle man' keeping standards super high but prices super low as well as being able to do 99% of repairs within 3-5 days and even some whilst you wait! We specialize in restoration repairs

and rebuilds and hold their work to an extremely high standard. This is why we have a number of loyal customers within the public and trade including some well known high street chains! In fact, we are so confident of our workmanship that we guarantee all of our repairs, both trade and private, for a full 12 months. We offer a wide range of services whilst you wait such as cleaning & polishing, rhodium plating, watch battery replacement, watch strap replacement, watch strap shortening and much more.

Earlier on in the month we had a special request to make the design you can see on the left of the image below, the image on the right shows the final outcome.

The customer wanted to gift something special and unique to the recipient. They had decided on making a pendant of their zodiac sign adding in their birthstone to make a one of bespoke item of jewellery.

On collection the customer was thrilled with the final outcome and later came back to tell us how happy the person they had gifted it to was.

At Jacksons we try our upmost to repair and create what the customer is requesting with giving alternatives if we can see other ways to make the final product the most durable we can.

Hello all we hope your all enjoying this sunny weather this morning, below we have attached an image of a pretty stone a customer has brought in to ourselves, her grandson gave her this stone when he was a young boy and she wanted this to be turned into something she will be able to wear and carry on herself as a cherished memento of that day, We then came up with the idea together to make a cage around the stone so you can still see all the detail of the stone but it will be secure enough to wear as a pendant.

Hello all we hope everyone is well, i have attached images below of some silver that has been badly tarnished and gotten quite dirty over time and was in much needed TLC. Customers brought these chains in and was unsure if we could get them back to their original state which as you can see they look as good as new after a good clean and polish.

Do you have a beloved ring that you no longer wear due to a missing stone? Maybe you have put the ring in a box as it keeps catching on your clothes. Here at Jacksons Jewellery we have jobbing jewellers who have 20+ years worth of experience of working on finer, more intricate jobs.
Below are some photos of before and after.
As with all jewellery each item is different, the ring may need a setting edge, claws tipping, the stone resetting or as a last option the ring may have been worn so much that really it requires a new head to ensure all stones are secure within the ring. You may even decide on changing the style of the head!
At Jacksons we try to listen to our customers and what they would like, if possible we will always follow their request but we will recommend what we know will work best for the price.

Hello all, we hope you are okay.

Below is a photo of a white gold ring before and after rhodium plating.
Did you know that white gold is made up of predominately gold blended with nickel, zinc, silver or palladium. Due to this white gold items always retain their yellow tint after some time. This is where rhodium plating is required for the shiny white effect. Rhodium plating is an electroplating process where the ring must be cleaned completely and then a positive electric charge is used to fuse the rhodium onto the metal. However, this is only a plating and will wear off over time.

Here at Jacksons Jewellery we offer cleaning, polishing and rhodium plating of any item jewellery within the hour if required.

Hello all we hope you have had a great bank holiday weekend. I have attached an image of a lovely ladies ring which was in much need of Some TLC, this ring was brought to us as a stone was missing and the customer wanted us to replace it but upon further inspection we advised the customer that this head was too worn to work on and her other stones were at risk. We discussed the option of removing the old head a replacing it which would then make the stones secure and not at risk of falling out.

Hello all, i have attached an image of a ring were the customer wanted something a little different. we swapped the centre diamonds for a beautiful amethyst stone to add some colour.
( customer came to this decision as the previous setting is called tile set, this is where the stones are compressed together and are cast with the stones already in the ring, usually we do not work on tile set rings as we are not be able to get the sones back into the setting due to this.)

Below i have attached a photo of a gold watch strap shortening.
Here at Jacksons we offer replacement batteries whilst you wait. We can shorten watch bracelets, some whilst you wait others can be done in a couple of days if it is required to go into the workshop. We also replace watch straps whilst you wait.

Hello all just wanted to inform everyone of our upcoming hours over the easter holiday, we will be closed Friday 29th march and Saturday 30th march and will be reopening Tuesday 2nd April.

Below i have attached an image of a beautiful diamond necklace, the lovely lady who owned this wanted to change the style of the setting surrounding the diamond from white gold (bail and mount) to a yellow gold (solid mount). We did as she wished and this is the outcome.

Hello all,
We hope the beginning of 2024 has been treating you well. We are want to say thank you to all of our customers, we would not be able to do what we do without you.

There are a number of ways to alter your items of jewellery to find a way to make them new again or to change the way they look.
Below are two different types of finishes.
The earrings came in after being kept in a draw, unable to get the tarnish off. The customer was in two minds as to discard of them as she wouldn't have worn them as they were.
A gentleman visited our shop with this silver ring wanting the engraving to stand out, we offered to buff and polish the ring and then to add an antique black affect. The customer was very pleased with the end result.

We do offer a clean, polish and rhodium plate service to be carried out within the hour.
