Ever wondered what happens when you commission a piece of jewellery?
It starts with a conversation.
You don't need to arrive with a finished design in mind. You might have an idea, a favourite shape, a special stone, a piece of seaglass — or simply something you'd like me to create.
The blue seaglass necklace in these slides is one example of a commission. The seaglass belonged to the customer, and together we developed it into a piece of jewellery made especially for them.
From the first idea and sketch, through to cutting, shaping, soldering and finishing the silver, every stage is done by hand in my studio in Arundel.
And that's what makes a commission special — it's made specifically for you. 🤍

There’s something special about jewellery that doesn’t look like it came out of a mould. 🤍

Every piece I make is hand cut, shaped and finished in sterling silver, allowing the metal to keep some of its own character.

I love those little differences — the subtle marks from the hammer, an uneven edge, an organic curve. They’re what make a handmade piece feel truly yours.

From my small studio in Arundel, I’m creating simple sterling silver jewellery inspired by natural shapes, textures and the beauty of imperfection.

A simple piece of handmade sterling silver, shaped and finished by hand.

This crossover ring has an organic, gently twisted form that catches the light beautifully. I love the way the two sides cross over each other to create something that feels simple, but a little different.

✨ THE NEW DELIA HARVEY DESIGNS SHOP IS OPEN! ✨

After lots of making, photographing, writing, tweaking — and probably far too much time spent looking at screens — my new online shop is finally live. 🤍

You can now browse my handmade sterling silver jewellery, all created by hand in my studio in Arundel.

From simple organic silver pieces to designs incorporating seaglass, each piece is individually made, shaped, hammered and finished by me.

Moving from Etsy to my own shop feels like a really exciting new chapter, and I'm so pleased to finally be able to share it with you.
