SPARKLER ✨

I can finally reveal this beaut of a ring from a few weeks ago, made using sentimental gold and stones. Designed closely with the client, who knew what he was after for his partners special birthday. All done in secret and months of planning to make sure it was a total surprise. Sneaking bits of sentimental jewellery to me so we could combine it all to make this fabulous show stopping piece.

It made my day when I received this message on the day the ring was given

In this workshop participants can choose between either making a ring or making a bangle. The techniques taught are essentially the same but the material costs will vary between the two.

Sat at your own jeweller’s bench, you will first learn how to cut out your chosen metal with a piercing saw, before heating it with a blowtorch, hammering into shape on a mandrel and soldering together. The final stage of the process is to clean up your work and polish it – ready to take wear home.

This is great day of making with careful step-by-step direction from Rebecca, ensuring that everyone leaves with a piece that they are happy with.

Duration: 5 hours with a break for lunch participants can either enjoy a delicious lunch @therealstauntondeli@staunton_harold_nurseries or bring their own packed lunch. Tea, coffee or cold drinks will be provided during the class.

Price: £60 pp + material cost*

Group size: Max 8 ppl

Times: 09:30am to 2:30pm

*costs will vary depending on what you choose to make and will be payable by card or bacs at the end of the class. The price is worked out by weight and ranges from £25-£50 for a ring and £60-£120 for a bangle. You will know exactly how much your chosen piece will cost before you start making, so no nasty shocks at the end of the class.

Please note, if we cancel or alter the content, time or location of a class you will be offered a full refund or the option to switch to another class.

Workshops are non refundable but are transferable where possible.

The workshop is located on the first floor with no lift, and is therefore unfortunately inaccessible for wheelchair users.
