The Ayrshire Wedding Exhibition will be back at Trump Turnberry on Sunday 23rd of March. This is Ayrshire’s largest wedding show and a must attend for anyone planning a wedding! We'll be exhibiting on the day and will have hundreds of wedding ring designs available to try on.
Wedding season has officially started! We had a very busy day at the VIP Wedding Fayre in Troon today. Our next wedding show is at Ayr Racecourse on Sunday 2nd February. These shows are a great way to meet local suppliers and get ideas for your big day! ✨️

If you can't make it along tomorrow, the collection will be available to view in store from next week, and we'll add it to our website as soon as we can. We're really excited by this collection as it's incredibly well made and beautifully finished. Perfect for brides, bridesmaids, special occasions or just a treat for yourself! We're open 10am to 5pm seven days a week until the end of December, except for three days over Christmas 🎄✨️
The workshop is closed to new repairs, resizing and engraving work until Tuesday 07 January, including estimate requests. Jobs can still be booked in, but they won't be added to the workshop queue until 07 January and our normal timescales will apply from that date. We're almost fully booked for January already, so recommend booking ASAP if you need work done!
We're still offering replacement watch batteries/straps and bracelet adjustments over the Christmas period, and these will be available for collection from 10am the next working day as usual. The cut-off for Christmas eve collections will be midday on Monday 23 December⌚️

Another unique remodel, this time in platinum. Planning the stone layout for this caused us to scratch our heads a little! There was a real mix of stone shapes and sizes from different jewellery, including tapered baguettes. The customer wanted to use all of her diamonds as they held sentimental value, but wanted something different from the usual bubble-style ring often used with a mix of stones. Hayley spent a few hours planning different cluster layouts to show the diamonds at their best, as it was important for the ring to look like a deliberate design rather than a mishmash of stones. This layout was the customer's final choice, and the finished ring turned out beautifully!

Our Alloway Street shop was built in 1897 and retains the original cabinetry and facade, with a full-service workshop below street level. We also have a showcase at the world famous Trump Turnberry Resort, where we display a range of luxury jewellery, watches and gifts.
Although we might appear to be a 'wee shop', we hold thousands of items in stock - many of which are made in the UK. In addition to more traditional jewellery designs, we offer a stunning collection of contemporary jewellery from award-winning designers such as ASTRA and Kit Heath, including a range of designer children's jewellery. We offer something for every budget; from sterling silver pendants at under £30 to exquisite diamond rings at over £30,000. If we don't have exactly what you require, we can source it from one of our suppliers or have it made by our skilled goldsmith to your own specification. All of our handmade items are hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office using our unique shamrock hallmark.
Our watch brands include Eterna, Dreyfuss & Co, Bulova and Rotary. We hold a large selection of watches in stock and can order any model from their current ranges. We can also source pre-owned and vintage watches from luxury brands such as Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Omega and Patek Philippe.
Getting married? We hold a selected range of wedding rings in stock with many more available to order in silver, white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, platinum and palladium. We also offer a state-of-the-art CAD (Computer Aided Design) service to create a bespoke wedding band shaped to fit against your engagement ring perfectly. Your design can be customised with a choice of metals, gemstones, finishes and engraving. Our goldsmith can also handcraft wedding rings from existing gold, for example if you have an heirloom piece that you wish to incorporate into your new band. For the wedding party we offer traditional kilt pins, brooches, sgian dubhs, cufflinks and an extensive range of gifts for groomsmen, bridesmaids, flower girls and page boys. We also offer quaichs, cake knives, crystal glasses and photo frames. A full engraving service is available.
We stock our own exclusive range of gold and silver Scottish charms which are hallmarked in Edinburgh, along with an extensive range of quality gifts made in the UK, including handmade crystal, glassware, silverware and pewter which can be engraved with your choice of text or images. We can also supply and engrave trophies, medals and salvers.

David Logan is our jeweller. He joined the business in 1961 as an 18 year old apprentice, studying gemmology and watchmaking at Stow College in Glasgow. As past captain of Turnberry Golf Club, David is now an honorary life member of the club and still golfs regularly in his spare time. David's wife Lorna can also be found in the shop most days. David asked her to provide two week's holiday cover over 30 years ago, and somehow she is still arriving for work every day...
Ewen Logan is our goldsmith and son of David and Lorna. He joined the business in 1989 aged 17, studying gemmology with the National Association of Goldsmiths before completing his goldsmith training in London. Previously captain of Ayr Rugby Club where he played for over 20 years; Ewen is now a coach for the Ayr Wellington Mini Rugby team in his spare time. Ewen's wife Hayley manages our website and page.
