WHAT A WEEK 🙈😂

Firstly a huge thank you to the girls for looking after the shop while I’ve been away 🫶

I’ve had a very eventful holiday 😂 honestly it wouldn’t be like me to do things by half lol 🙈

I’m looking forward to getting back into the shop, having a wee chat with you all and seeing what I’ve missed.

We’re open today from 10am–4pm with lots of gorgeous gifts for every occasion and our yummy bakes are only 5 for £10 🍪🧁

Also… how are we in June already 😳 which means Father’s Day is coming quick, if you’re wanting anything personalised for Dad please don’t leave it until the last minute.

JOHN HAS DONE IT AGAIN 🎨📚

Doodles By John - John McClaughry Artist is another incredibly talented business we’re lucky to have in the shop.

Not only does he create the most amazing caricatures, he was also the talented artist behind my Mayfair window painting… honestly, there’s not much this man can’t turn his hand to! 👏

Now he’s written and published this fantastic comic and it’s already proving to be a huge hit! 🔥

These would make a brilliant pressie for comic lovers, collectors or anyone who appreciates amazing artwork and creativity.

Make sure you grab your copy before they’re gone!

🥈 SMALL WEE SHOP… BIG TEAM EFFORT ❤️

Absolutely buzzing to have received 2nd Place for Best Dressed Window 2026 at the Ballyclare May Fair.

Of course we were aiming for the top spot 😂 but honestly we are so proud of what we created together, and massive congratulations to all the other winners 👏

This wasn’t just “our” window… this was teamwork from the amazing businesses within our wee shop who stock with us and put their heart and soul into every little detail. Every single one of you are winners in my eyes 💕

From the stunning hanging baskets, to all the red, white & blue cups and pom poms that helped bring the whole display to life 🇺🇸 every little detail mattered.

We had the unbelievable handmade cake featuring the Declaration of Independence, handmade jewellery, crochet bears, Lego frames, beautiful artwork of local Ballyclare landmarks, and of course the amazing window painting by Doodlesbyjohn. The majority of our display was handmade, which makes this achievement even more special.

Unfortunately I couldn’t be there to receive our trophy as it wasn’t announced during May Fair week, but our lovely Sharon stepped in for me ❤️ Sharon is not only one of our fabulous stockists, but also a great friend, organiser, declutterer and one of the people who helped me pull the whole window together.

The amount of effort, creativity and talent inside our wee shop never goes unnoticed, and we’re so grateful to have such incredible businesses involved.

And finally, thank you to every single person who stopped, looked, took photos, shared posts or complimented our window over the past couple of weeks. Your support means more than you know.

This morning is our last crochet class before we take a little break… but don’t worry, we’ll be back with even more stitches, creativity and giggles very soon!

Our classes are taught by the very talented Patricia from Hugable Bears, who has over 30 years of crochet experience! Patricia also stocks her beautiful handmade bears in the shop, which everyone absolutely loves.

LAST DAY OF THE MAYFAIR 🎡🍭

A huge thank you to Donna for covering me the last couple of days while my body decided to completely meltdown and force me to rest… something I’m honestly useless at 😂

I’m so grateful you all kept her busy and continued supporting the shop while I was off. I’m just sorry I didn’t get to meet so many of you who travelled over to visit us.

Today is the final day of the Mayfair and we’re ready to welcome you all into the shop ❤️
