The Hampshire School of Jewellery offers classes in Basingstoke, Hampshire. All classes are taught by our qualified tutor Laura who has over 10 years experience in teaching jewellery making. Classes on offer include silver jewellery making and silver clay as well as beading and stringing pearls. Classes are available for complete beginners and those with experience. It’s been a busy week with all my term time classes, as well as planning new dates for the Saturday classes which are now available to book on the website.

There are new dates for sessions including stacking rings, stone set rings, bangles and spinning rings.

I also have a couple of opportunities to join me this month. On Saturday 20th June there is one space available on the spinning ring class in the morning, and spaces in the afternoon bangle making session too.

✨ A little studio update ✨

Last month marked 16 years since I first started teaching jewellery making! What began with teaching at my local college eventually led me to set up the jewellery school almost 10 years ago, and I'm so grateful to everyone who has joined me on that journey. 💛

To celebrate, I'm planning something special on Saturday 18th July, so please save the date! More details coming soon.

In the meantime, I have:
💍 One space remaining on my Spinning Ring Making workshop on Saturday 20th June
✨ Spaces available on the afternoon Bangle Making Workshop which is also on Saturday 20th June.
📅 New class dates now live through to October

Whether you're completely new to jewellery making or looking to learn a new technique, all classes are beginner-friendly and taught step by step.

Sian from my Tuesday morning class made these absolutely stunning statement earrings.

Set with a purple cz and neon apatite drops they are real show stoppers. They combined a whole range of skills and techniques and are completely handmade 💚💜

Next on my job list is planning new class dates into the autumn term. I have a whole range of classes in the programme already (which you can see in the post) but do you have anything you would like to see too?
