Both absolutely great editions to any Antique jewellery collectors, who love to read a great jewellery book for reference.

Chaine d’Ancre silver toggle bracelet by Hermes.

Vintage 2016 signed Hermes Paris.

This fabulous utilitarian Anchor ⚓️ inspired design was first created in 1938 by Robert Dumas the CEO of Hermes from 1951-1978

He got the inspiration for the design while on holiday in Normandy, where he became fascinated by the curved interlocking links of heavy ship anchor chains, holding boats in place in the harbour, so then the Chaine d’ancre was born,
These bracelets were mainly produced in gold, but Dumas partnered with the Artisan silversmith, Gaëtan de Percin
To produce this design in this more affordable metal.
This particular bracelet is a great wrist size measures 8 3/4” and will fit a 7” wrist perfectly. 👌
It’s in brand new condition.
