I think it’s high time for more of my 🙌🏼❤️!

POV: summer to me is salad weather 🙌🏼🥗🍅! This simple dish can be pimped up or down and varies in so many ways across the world, making it a fabulous dish to make in miniature because of the variety of ways it can be done!

Here I have created a tiny classic Greek salad in polymerclay with mini black olives and feta! Every dollshouse in my opinion has to look like it’s been paused during busy family life, therefore I think a miniature kitchen needs one of my dainty chopping boards with half diced veg too! 🙌🏼🥕

It has always astounded me that something so beautiful and rare as a pearl, is produced in something as (let’s face it) ugly as an oyster! 🤯

Not only that, how mad is this - Pearl oysters are not actually closely related to the edible oyster family at all! However, like edible oysters, they are key in improving water quality by filter feeding, taking in large amounts of water to feed and breathe (exchange O2 and CO2 with water) - oyster reefs themselves offer habitats for fish and invertebrates and protect shorelines from erosion. What little heroes! 💪🏼🌎❤️

To celebrate these little mollusks that do so much for us, I have created these little polymerclay oysters (in slightly better colours than real life) with their own mini pearls too - Perfect to wear whilst walking along a sandy beach! 🏖️

🌊🏖️These beach themed earrings were such a favourite with you all last year that I cannot believe it took a trip to Norfolk to remind me to make them! (I blame this hot weather 😅)! 🏖️🌊

This year they come with a little extra surprise… can you spot them?…

Like epoxy resin, I used a blower and white pigments to create the illusion of waves crashing against the sand - the shells were created with miniature moulds as shown in the reel, then lightly painted to bring them to life! 🐚🙌🏼❤️

❤️🌸♟️There are so many ways to create stripes with polymer clay, from stacking to simply cutting the clay into straight lines. I finally purchased a new clay extruder to trial creating perfectly thin stripes that are equal in width to ultimately form the very intricate chequered pattern for these earrings! ♟️🌸❤️

A chequered (or checkerboard) pattern consists of alternating squares in two or more contrasting colours. After WW2, the popularity of check in high fashion increased as it was featured in the linings of Burberry coats and used by fashion designers such as Louis Vuitton in his ‘Damier patterns.’ This brown and khaki checkered pattern was actually first introduced in 1888 by George Vuitton (Louis Vuitton’s son) and the name ‘damier’ is translated as the French word for checkerboard!

Ok so they’re not quite Louis Vuitton but close enough 😎😜 so wear these earrings with style! 🙌🏼

🌼 Did you know that the name ‘daisy’ originating from the Old English dægeseage (meaning “day’s eye”), they symbolize innocence, purity, and cheerfulness - which I think is highly appropriate for this new floral collection! 🌼

Daisies are definitely one of my top sellers at Craft fairs so I thought I’d trial out this new hollow design in the classic yellow and white style! As you can see, my creative brain took over and it didn’t stop at that..🫣🤷🏼‍♀️.. before I knew it purple and green joined in and I’m sure many other colours will too! 😅❤️!

Clay have now been added to my biscuit magnet collection! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼… but are these orange chocolate treats a biscuit or a cake?…

This conundrum may never be solved but one things for sure I ADORE them (in real life (a little too much 🤭😅) and in clay form)! 🍊🍊🍫🍊🍊

These will be available for the first time at my first craft fair this Saturday .mill 🙌🏼…
