Behind every handcrafted piece at Glenarm is a dedicated team of creators, craftspeople, and client specialists.

Led by our Director, Brona, the team features Operations & Client Services Manager Aoife, and Workshop Manager & Senior Goldsmith Stephen, working together with Goldsmiths Matt, Jolene, and Claire to expertly craft each piece. Completing the design process, CAD Designer Peter transforms vision into detailed digital models. Jolene, Lucy & Kirsty are on hand in our showroom to guide clients through every step of their journey.

From concept to completion, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

Behind every piece of fine jewellery at Steensons is a story, and for three decades, Brona has been helping our clients tell theirs.

Since entering the business in 1997 and taking the helm in 2015, she has carried forward our founding legacy. Holding a BA (Hons) in Fine and Applied Art, Brona combines 30 years of experience in the family business with a true passion for design, specialising in creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate life's personal stories and special occasions.

At the heart of her approach is a deep appreciation for the dedicated team behind the business, many of whom have been part of the journey for years and are considered extended family. She is proud to continue the Steensons tradition of craftsmanship, creativity, and community as the business celebrates its 50th year!

Next month we celebrate 50 years in business, and we thought it was the perfect time to re-introduce ourselves!๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ‡

Bill & Christina founded Steensons Jewellers in October 1976, in the historic village of Glenarm. From a small local workshop, they grew the business into one of Northern Irelandโ€™s leading independent jewellers - renowned for their distinctive designs, fine craftsmanship and a personal approach.

Their dedication laid the foundation for the next generation, with Brona continuing the legacy.

Silversmiths & Goldsmiths - Master Craftspeople.

While the names sound simple, the crafts are entirely distinct. It isnโ€™t just that one works with silver and the other gold. Silversmiths specialise in vessels, tableware and sculptures. Goldsmiths specialise in jewellery, in all precious metals. Our founders Bill & Christina worked across both crafts for many years before specialising in goldsmithing.

We recommend you visit this wonderful exhibition at the CRAFT NI gallery.
