Welcome to LetsBeCats located in Buckinghamshire at the edge of the Chiltern Hills. I started out working with my eldest son Alex in making unusual pieces - quite different from the usual 'bead - designs' seen around. I love making quirky jewellery designs - they are often inspired by my interest in vintage and retro styles. Recycling is also very important to me and part of our ethos is to re-use items in inventive, unusual ways. Lets Be Cats can also be found

Only a few days until the Amersham Museum Craft Fair. Looking forward to this event - it's the first time I'm taking part. There are two opportunities to come and visit - this Friday and Saturday.
A good opportunity to get ahead of the imminent festive season (which is just around the corner) or treat yourself with a purchase from a host of talented local makers.

'So, would you be a Traitor or a Faithful?'
If you're undecided as to which you'd be, I've a very limited number of earrings and double sided pendants and keyrings available featuring both words. If you know for certain, I've just these two bookmarks available.
All made using upcycled dictionaries (the text used for the bookmarks was a very old shabby copy).
Not had time to upload them to Etsy yet, so grab them while you can - message or email me.

Think I've got a bit obsessed again with this combo of vintage cigarette cards and modern playing cards.... The colours are still so vibrant. Got lots more flowers and doggo greetings cards to make in due course.

A busy but relaxing day yesterday as we celebrated our wedding anniversary with a trip up to London. We called into the , a short walk from Kings Cross station, to drop off their latest order of earrings, bookmarks and craft kits - exclusive to the museum.
It's a great place to pop into to get an insight into the life of Dickens and his family. While you're there, take a look at their gift shop and grab something to eat in their cafe.
After a quick lunch, we enjoyed A Comedy of Spies - so fast and funny - more food then treated to an amazing sunset on the way home.

I've been busy working away on a wholesale order for the - earrings, bookmarks and these craft kits. They'll be exclusive to the museum so you know where to go for your Oliver Twist and A Christmas Carol fix!

Due to a cancellation you can find a selection of my pieces at for the next two weeks alongside other local makers. Until 24th September.

Did you hear there's a new Agatha Christie drama being made? 'Hercule' is set to air on BBC1 towards the end of next year and will star Edward Bluemel as a younger Poirot, forging his career in interwar London.
My upcycled Agatha Christie book designs are among my best online sellers, with Poirot beating Marple to the top spot. They can all be found in my online store (see bio) - just type Agatha Christie into the search bar and they'll pop up. If you're a die-hard fan of the Queen of Crime and would like a different variation, just let me know.
