Heavenly old coin purses made of the softest leather have been turned into two necklaces and include preloved, black onyx and fossilised coral beads.

It’s no wind-up! 🐸

The key has long since disappeared and so too have the children who enjoyed endless hours of fun playing with this simple little toy.

I’m a great fan of imperfection. It makes life intriguing, and more wholesome.

Here’s an imperfect old metal belt I found which I have reinvented into a necklace. It’s lost its razzamatazzy shiny new look but in its place has emerged something much more interesting. A faded patina, lovely mellow colour, beautiful design and I wonder who it was worn by over the years?

I have paired it with a tiny chatelaine coin purse necklace, another wonderful piece of the past.

I love vintage textiles and these large (and lightweight) goldwork crosses yelled earrings to me. I have edged them with black seed beads and fashioned black buttons and faceted cabochons to attach the clip fastenings to.
They are worn here by the gorgeous and highly original
