⭐️Commissions service and online selling update⭐️

Hi friends, due to currently being in the process of selling my house,I have made the decision not to accept any commissions for the rest of this year, and will be focusing on making stock for the pre-Christmas events I have booked in, details of these to follow soon. I will also not be listing any items for sale in my Etsy shop until the events are all finished, at which point all remaining stock will become available online.

HOWEVER, the good news is my excellent friend John from White Rabbit Gallery also offers an electroforming commissions service to coat your own personal treasures in copper, silver and gold and will be happy to hear from you to discuss your requirements. He also has a lovely range of jewellery available made from feathers, sycamore seeds, lucky clovers, acorns and all sorts of other beautiful designs made from electroformed pieces of nature available to buy on his website so get over there for a browse.

He is not only far more technically skilled than me, he is also one of the nicest people I know and it is in no way an exaggeration to say that The Silvery still exists today (post the 2023 shutting down of Silvery #1) purely because of his incredible kindness and generosity towards me - so please be assured I will be genuinely delighted to be putting your business his way!

News on the various places you can find me and my Silvery treasures in the run up to Christmss to follow later this week! β€οΈπŸ™πŸ₯°

Hi my friends, thank you so much for all your kind messages, I have been absolutely blown away by the kindness that has been shown me over the last few nightmare weeks, you are all amazing πŸ©·πŸ™

Tomorrow I am taking a tentative step back into the Silvery saddle and setting up again in the beautiful garden of my lovely friends Liz and Alan with our 1066 Artist Showcase buddies. We decided last year to take part in the much loved garden trail to raise funds for the wonderful St Michael's Hospice.
I had said I was now not going to take part as doing anything as 'normal' as setting up my stall seemed impossible a few weeks ago. However, the hospice meant a huge amount to Ian as they took such wonderful care of his Dad in the last weeks of his life, and it would mean spending the day in a beautiful space with some very dear friends, so it seemed a good thing to push myself a bit to do.

You can find us at Woodland Cottage, 15 Hollington Park Road, St Leonards on Sea, TN38 0SE and we are open from 10.30am to 4pm.

You can purchase your entry wristband at any participating venue, and that will get you into every garden that is open that day, all funds going to support the hospice's incredible work. See
St Michael's Hospice (Hastings and Rother) for more details.

Really hope to see you there! 🩷πŸ₯°πŸŒΉπŸŒ»πŸͺ»πŸŒ·πŸŒ³

Hi again everyone, a further update....
I am asking everyone not to send flowers to the funeral, but instead if you would like to make a small donation to his favourite charity, the Ceila Hammond Animal Trust, I know Ian would far rather see your money going to help animals in need instead.

This is the charity he got his beloved ginger boys, Rufus and Maxwell, from. They were the lights of his life and he was absolutely theirs, they are clearly devastated he has gone and missing him dreadfully. I am doing my best but they were Daddy's boys through and through and it is so hard to see them pining for him as much as I am.

I am putting a link here for donations to be made in his memory, if you are able to donate a couple of quid, he really would be over the moon to know he was helping other kitties like Rufus and Max find their forever homes.
Thank you so much πŸ™πŸ§‘πŸˆπŸˆ

Ian's funeral will take place on Friday 24th July at 11.15am at Hastings Crematorium followed immediately by the wake. If you would like to attend please can you email me at [email protected] so I can give you details about the wake and also get a rough idea of numbers.
I have been asked about if there is a dress code...no, no dress code, please just wear whatever is comfortable. Ian was a colourful person who loved colourful things (so how he ended up with Mrs-Only-Wears-Black i dont know!) and he did have a particular fondness for orange (like his beloved ginger cats Rufus and Maxwell) so if you fancy wearing a splash of orange that would be nice but absolutely not essential! 🧑
Many thanks to everyone for the incredible support you have been giving me, I have been completely blown away by everyone's care and kindness. πŸ™πŸ’”

Ian Robert Ellis 10.06.1969 - 20.06.2026

In the early hours of Saturday 20th June my beloved husband Ian, aka Mr Silvery, suffered a cardiac arrest and died. He was the kindest, funniest, loveliest husband, and I don't know how I am going to carry on without him. He was endlessly tolerant of my obsession to cover the world in silver, always happy to help me and those he loved. He drove me crazy with his messiness, hoarding, stubbornness, and inability to make a plan, but more than anything, he made me laugh and he made me feel loved and safe. We had our rough patches over the last couple of years, but we kept working at it because we both always knew the love far outweighed all else. He was the kind of person animals are immediately drawn to and trust, which I think says everything about the type of person he was. He was loyal, he was dependable, he was very funny, clever and endlessly kind. The moment that beautiful big kind heart stopped beating I feel like mine did too. I can't see how to crawl my way from one minute to the next right now so please bear with me if I take a while to reply to anything. These few words dont begin to do him justice, but I need to let people know, and I know the longer I put this off, the harder it will be.
Rest in peace my angel, I will be missing you every minute until we can be together again. πŸ’”
