My biggest fear when I first tried marbling my polymer clay was that it might end up looking very muddy! But this beginner-friendly polymer clay technique will save you from that worry! 🩷

One of the most common polymer clay mistakes beginners make is skipping conditioning their clay before starting a project, SO - if your polymer clay feels hard, crumbly or difficult to work with, conditioning is an important first step you won’t want to miss.

Whether you’re making polymer clay earrings, trinket bowls, or maybe even christmas decorations, learning the basics of polymer clay can make crafting so much easier (and a LOT less frustrating!) Lucky for you, I’ll be sharing more in my Clay Confidence series soon!

Crafting doesnt have to involve a complicated new skill or something specific to achieve. Let’s just keep it simple - it’s something calming to focus on for a little bit.

Fun but low-effort craft projects are my favourite way to quiet my busy brain, and keep my hands occupied. If you’re a busy mum looking for a hobby that doesnt require loads of time, energy, and concentration then take this as your sign to try crafting... and of course I would recommend making polymer clay jewellery, it’s fun to do and you get something fun and handmade to wear afterwards ❤️
