CHOOSE TO SHINE…

For those who have recently followed me..WELCOME to my page, I hope you will be inspired as we choose to shine together…

Today I have selected a few pictures to share some of my story…

1. THE BURNING BUSH - When I was eight months old our house burnt down and I was rescued from the fire.

2. I “Aspire to lead a quiet life, mind my own business and work hard with my hands”

3. FAITH IS MY FOUNDATION and I founded Silver Fish jewellery specialising in Christian Jewellery in 2002.

4./5 My mantra is ‘MAKE JEWELLERY CHANGE LIVES’
to this end I have led jewellery projects in Haiti, India, Nigeria, Ghana UK and Kenya.
5/6. I founded MasterPeace Academy in The Jewellery Quarter to make the jewellery trade relevant and accessible to local youth in 2021.
I founded MasterPeace Academy Kenya in 2024.

8. I am a voice for equality and justice for marginalised and oppressed people .

9. I believe the children are the future and my greatest flex is having raised 3 AWESOME young people.

I use eco/recycled gold and silver, creating meaningful living heirlooms to adorn the body and feed the soul. I use African gemstones by AFRIKA ROCKS! .

LOCKED IN…

Theres something about working late at my workshop in the Jewellery Quarter Birmingham, being alone in this Victorian building when everyone else has gone home , when all is quiet and i’m LOCKED IN - that makes me feel more FOCUSED some work to music - I prefer the sound of silence. Whats your preference?

COUNTING THE YEARS - ITS ALL JOY…

I can hardly believe it’s been almost 25 years since I began my Journey as a self employed jeweller. It’s been an amazing ride - still the passion and sense of purpose remains. When people ask for my key… its all about THE JOY… the joy of creating something from raw materials and the joy it brings to my clients thats what fuels me… you can’t have one without the other. With every item I am inspired to make I just know that I am making it for someone special especially when its an experimental piece - no buyer yet - just a feeling that someone out there needs to hear the message that each design carries.

As I look back over the years that have flown by, I’m filled with gratitude… I thank God, my teams and every client who believed in me. There have been mountains and valleys still I COUNT IT ALL JOY!
