This beautiful soul came to the workshop to make a ring last night. We briefly discussed ideas before she learned how to measure, cut and solder the silver wire. She decided to have one textured and one plain polished ring, soldered together with silver and brass accents. I think you'll agree she did an amazing job. .w.24

I've spent the morning in a wax ring carving workshop at The Hive as part of their Heritage Craft programme. I have had the absolute best time, such a fun and informative session!! I need some time to finish my ring and will be getting it cast in silver. I'll show you when it's done, but in the meantime it's back to my commissions ❤️🙏❤️

Look what these three lovely ladies made 😍😍😍 mum and her two daughters did a fab job, it's interesting how they all chose such different stones. What a wonderful way to spend time with your loved ones. Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of these two lovelies in for a ring making workshop. They practised soldering and texturing some copper rings with different texture hammers to get a feel for what they wanted to create in silver. They then measured, sawed, filed, soldered and pickled three stacking rings each, before texturing and polishing their creations!! We had tea and cake and lots of laughs as well as the serious stuff of making beautiful shiny things! They did incredibly well! They both commented that they hadn't ever thought about how much work goes into creating a simple ring, but that's what truly handmade jewellery is all about! Made with love ❤️ Get in touch if you'd like to have a bash at either rings or bangles!!
