Unfortunately, the constant coughing has caused me to sprain or tear my intercostal muscles between my ribs and it is now extremely painful to pretty much do anything at the moment.

Therefore I am sorry to say that the shop will probably be closed for the rest of this week too.

For those of you into British coins, I am currently going through a large collection of silver coins I obtained this weekend.

They range from the 1600s through to 1946. Quite a few in very good condition, and several rare dates too.

These will be ready to view this coming week (back open on Wednesday).

This exquisite piece is an antique Edwardian-era or early Art Deco diamond bar brooch (circa 1900–1920) crafted in platinum and 18ct white gold.

It showcases a classic elongated bar silhouette with a prominent, brilliant central gemstone and finely detailed geometric metalwork.

The brooch features a large, central Old European cut diamond (just over 1 carat) held securely in a multi-prong setting that maximizes its light dispersion and fiery flash, and eight smaller diamonds on the shoulders.
