It's been a long long time since I last posted. My head and I have been very much out of the game recently with my full time job taking over my life again. Something I promised I wouldn't allow to happen when I went back, but alas that went straight out of the window.
Don't get me wrong I love my job but I am now working around managing a much healthier work/life balance.
I have been meaning to make a new mala for months now. I don't know why I have felt drawn to do this but I kept returning to the same thought over and over.
When the company Mr Bead who I have followed for ages on social media announced their Cornish Fair dates I popped along to the Probus one and purchased these gorgeous beads (well all apart from the guru bead at the base, this one came from Tintagel). The beads are obsidian, fluorite, amethyst, rose quartz, aventurine, labradorite and sunstone with hematite (the guru bead).
I actually knotted the mala several weeks ago but was struggling to decide on buying a pre made tassel or create my own. I did try a pre made one but couldn't take to it so dug through my old craft stuff and found these fibres.
It felt good to be creative again and spend time on things I enjoy doing
