Next weekend I'll be at Athelhampton House on Saturday for their Autumn market. It's such a beautiful location, the house and gardens are stunning as well as their lovely cafe and shop.

It's that time to think about Christmas shopping I think if you haven't already, there are lots of stalls with unique gifts and it's also important to support local businesses who work super hard to make the events even more fun and interesting for everyone.

Do come along and come and say hi.

Browse local food and drink, handmade gifts, artisan crafts and seasonal treats. It’s a chance to meet the stallholders, support local businesses and make a start on your Christmas shopping. 🎁

📍 Athelhampton’s West Lawn
🎟️ Free market entry

We kindly ask visitors to RSVP in advance:

The House & Gardens will also be open from 10am-5pm (last admission at 4pm), with normal admission charges applying. Our restaurant will be open from 9.30am-5pm, serving breakfast, light lunches and cream teas - perfect for a break between browsing the stalls.

This week's blog is all about how crystals can look so different.

I've got a new toy...should have bought it years ago but we are where we are.

A microscope. I tried to get some photos with it so it's not perfect but it's on my blog and I think they're pretty amazing. Just shows you how beautiful the inclusions and details are in a crystal.
