I passed!!!

I'm so relieved I don’t have to redo my final project. I was convinced it wouldn’t make the cut, but I ended up getting more points than I expected! I already have a few things lined up, and my biggest challenge now is carving out time to focus on them instead of procrastinating. Here’s to the next chapter!

That's it. All done. They're in the hands of the assessor now.

I've learnt so much over these last 10 months and have thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills.

The last term went better than the previous, but I wish I had more time and confidence to do more with my final project. Also, I lost the earrings I made for wire week, and my cast setting pendant broke when I was cleaning it this weekend, and for both, I didn't have the time to order new materials. So fingers crossed I have enough to pass the diploma. I also forgot to take a photo of my cast setting ring and pendant 🤦‍♀️

Now, I get some time back to myself and to reflect on how I'm going to move forward with my new skill. I have a few business ideas in the pipeline, and I have to make sure I don't make the same mistake I made with the nutrition diploma and leave it too long to start.

Firstly, I'm going to enjoy the summer, catch up on my long to-do list, and play around with some ideas.

I completely forgot to post photos of my term 2 creations, which I posted after our trip to Iceland. This said trip was probably the reason why I didn't get it all finished and was the worst term so far but onwards and upwards. I did the best with what I had, and I'm proud of the outcome. The third and final term is due a week today!!!!

A whole term's work in one photo!

The last 3 weeks have been manic trying to catch up and then cleaning and polishing everything.

The spinner ring caused me a headache. The first attempt, the joint split when I was using the dome. I managed to fix that, and then the spinner broke 😭 I finally got it finished, and whilst cleaning it, I lost it the day before posting 😲 I found it on the radiator the next morning 🙃

Anyway, it's all been posted, and I've received an email to say they've received it, phew!

Bring on the next term, and I've got to keep up this time!!!

Another class finished.
The domed class!
Here's my domed earrings and domed spinner ring. This was my second attempt at the ring, my first split at the joint when I was doing the doming. So it's gone from an average sized ring to a little finger ring 😆

I'm not 100% happy with it, but I love it anyway. It was meant to be a thumb ring but ended up only fitting my wedding finger!
