DID YOU KNOW?

Most of the Pearls on the market are grown on Pearl Farms within Oysters & Freshwater Mussels. These are called Freshwater or Cultured Pearls.

Natural Pearls are extremely rare to find. Historically this was the only method of Pearl harvesting, however this lead to much waste as not every mollusc will have a Pearl inside & is no long common practice.
