A little look back at our May Half Term Holiday Art Clubs ✨🎨

Looking for something creative this May Half Term? 🌈✨

Join us at Goldfinch Create & Play for our special Create & Play holiday sessions for little ones aged 1.5–5 years.

This week we’ll be making rainbow-inspired crafts, colourful rainmakers and exploring playful sensory trays designed to spark curiosity, creativity and imagination.

Our Nature-Inspired Afterschool Art Club is designed especially for children in Reception to Year 2, encouraging creativity, imagination and connection with nature through hands-on art and seasonal making, all led by experienced teachers. 🍃✨

At .createandplay , we always begin with an idea… but never an expectation ✨

This session was all about print and turtles 🐢
Same materials, same starting point, but every outcome completely different.

Some children followed the theme, exploring pattern and texture to create their own turtles. Others took the materials somewhere entirely their own… including a brilliant surprise ninja 🥷

We love supporting both.

Because creativity isn’t about getting it "right," it’s about feeling confident enough to follow your own ideas 💛

A little snippet of our Easter Holiday Art Clubs at .createandplay 🌸✨

From jewellery making 💍 to construction projects 🏗️, illustration 🎨 and all things spring crafts 🌼 it was such a creative, joy-filled week! The kids absolutely loved exploring new materials and ideas, and were so proud of everything they made.

♻️🐊 Recycled Animal Makers 🐧✨

This term at Goldfinch, our young artists turned everyday materials into something magical 💫

From moving split-pin creatures to 3D animals, garden birds and even spray-painted masterpieces, the studio was full of imagination, problem-solving and hands-on creativity 🎨

We finished with recycled Easter baskets, ready for the all-important egg hunt 🐣🌿

So proud of these unique, characterful creations 👏

A few highlights from our **Jan / Feb term** at **.createandplay** Preschool Art classes ✨🎨

Each craft was carefully curated and inspired by the gentle emergence of spring, as well as the wonderful **RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch**. 🐦🌱

We loved seeing little hands creating, exploring and bringing nature-inspired ideas to life through playful making and imaginative art.

This term at Kids Art Club has been all about Architecture and Place 🏗️✨
Imagining ourselves as Architects and Engineers, the children explored big ideas through fabulous scrapstore finds, card templates, recycled materials and of course… glue guns!

We’re so excited to welcome everyone back for our Feb / March term, where we’ll be diving into the world of mythical creatures 🐉🦄
Yes… that’s another whole term of glue guns!
