Nicholas Wylde (Goldsmith) Ltd is an independent retail jewellers and manufacturing designer jewellers. Specialising in individual commissions and the remodelling of existing jewellery, Nicholas is one of the leading designers in the UK among the very few to offer his own unique, patented diamond cut - the Wylde Flower Diamond. The client base at Nicholas Wylde is varied, consisting of many local clients, clients who regularly travel from across the country to visit his shops and tourists to both cities who buy pieces from the window on impulse. Nicholas has made jewellery for many famous TV and sports personalities and even a member of the royal family! To the discerning lover of jewellery, the name Nicholas Wylde is synonymous with style and quality. All purchases are exquisitely gift wrapped. Visitors to his shops are invited to view the extensive range of gold and silver jewellery, and if its a more unusual piece you are after, a bespoke piece can be happily discussed and commissioned. Both shops have a workshop on the premises which provides an efficient repair service. Also undertaken are valuations and quotations for insurance replacement.

These bespoke his & hers engagement rings were designed by Grace, the in-house designer at our Bristol store. Connected by rich green hues and intricate detailing, each ring has a personality of its own.

That is the beauty of bespoke. You can choose rings that complement one another while giving each of you the freedom to express your individual style. Two deeply personal pieces, created to celebrate the life you are building together.

This is where our 40th story begins.

In 1987, Nicholas Wylde opened the doors to his first shop in Bath. Nearly forty years later, thousands of pieces of jewellery – and thousands of stories – have passed through our doors.

As we begin our 40th anniversary celebrations, Nicholas has written a personal letter reflecting on where Wylde began, the generations who have become part of our story, and the future still waiting to be written.

Over the months ahead, we’ll be unveiling much more: stories from our past, exceptional jewellery, new creations and a series of special moments to mark four decades of Wylde.

For now, consider this the first page.
