Specialising in individual commissions and the remodelling of existing jewellery, Nicholas is one of the leading designers in the UK among the very few to offer his own unique, patented diamond cut - the Wylde Flower Diamond. The client base at Nicholas Wylde is varied, consisting of many local

clients, clients who regularly travel from across the country to visit his shops and tourists to both cities who buy pieces from the window on impulse. Nicholas has made jewellery for many famous TV and sports personalities and even a member of the royal family! To the discerning lover of jewellery, the name Nicholas Wylde is synonymous with style and quality. All purchases are exquisitely gift wrapped. Visitors to his shops are invited to view the extensive range of gold and silver jewellery, and if its a more unusual piece you are after, a bespoke piece can be happily discussed and commissioned. Both shops have a workshop on the premises which provides an efficient repair service. Also undertaken are valuations and quotations for insurance replacement.

Happy Birthday to His Majesty!

Its been just over 3 years since the king wore my favourite crown jewel, St Edwards's Crown.

The crown is made of gold and set with 2,868 diamonds, 17 sapphires, 11 emeralds, 269 pearls, and 4 rubies & contains some of the most famous jewels in the collection. These include the Black Prince's Ruby, the Stuart Sapphire, and the Cullinan II diamond.

St Edward’s Sapphire, set in the centre of the topmost cross, is said to have been worn in a ring by St Edward the Confessor and discovered in his tomb in 1163.
